Our vessels respect all the legal and sanitary rules in force. They comply with safety standards and have all the safety equipment required by Portuguese legislation<\/strong>. We are inspected annually and all of our boat tours<\/a> includes Civil Liability Insurance<\/strong> and Accident Insurance<\/strong> on all vessels covering all customers, legalized according to the requirements of the Portuguese authorities. Safety always comes first. Lagos Boat Tours<\/strong> has all licenses, insurances and permits for the different tours it offers.<\/p>

Our boats are built and certified from the largest <\/strong>and best boat builder in Portugal <\/strong>(Obe & Carmen, Lda.<\/em>) and they are the most stable and reliable for this type of boat trips<\/strong>.<\/p>

The ‘EXCELSIOR II<\/strong>‘ and the ‘EXCELSIOR III<\/strong>‘ are 2 small boats measuring 6.16m in length<\/strong>, with capacity for 10 customers<\/strong> and are the most suitable for entering the grottoes and caves<\/a>. Only this way is possible to discover the interior of the most beautiful <\/strong>grottos<\/a> of the Algarve, at the amazing Ponta da Piedade in Lagos, and cruise through the narrow passages and rock formations of this fantastic coastline.<\/p>

This boat tour was the highlight of our trip. Rui took us into caves, along beaches, through rock arches: each scene more incredible than the last. He was a great guide - safe, charming, and friendly. He was adventurous enough for the three 20-something young men in the group, but safe enough for the three sixty- year olds to enjoy, as well. When we decided at the last minute to do another boat tour, I emailed Rui and within minutes, although he was booked, he set us up with a friend, and we had another spectacular day. The best excursion ever! I went on this trip in July 2020, on the day when we all gathered, the weather was not so good and we were offered to move it for the next day when it was not cloudy. It was very much appreciated because we could really enjoy the sunset with all those beautiful colors in the sky. We also went through all the coolest caves starting from Potato beach, the guide was so good forwarding the boat into the caves we thought it was impossible to enter. I'll never forget this experience and will repeat it when I'm in the area again. Great Staff, great places, best view, interesting stories on the way. Take this tour with Rui was the best we did  in Lagos. He is a really high skilled sailor and we went to unbelievable places just because of his talent. Adorei o passeio com o capit\u00e3o Rui Pedro!\n\nFizemos o Passeio \u00e0s Grutas da Ponta da Piedade e foi fant\u00e1stico. Ele entrou em todas as grutas porque tem um barco mais pequeno que as outras empresas que saem da Marina de Lagos.\n\nEle deu-nos tempo suficiente para fazermos muitas fotos e explicou-nos todos os pormenores das grutas e a hist\u00f3ria em torno da Ponta da Piedade.\n\nRecomendo a 100%.\n\nMuito obrigado Rui Pedro!\n\nAt\u00e9 \u00e0 pr\u00f3xima!<\/div> <\/span> <\/div> <\/div>

Rui is a great tour guide and knows the grottos like the back of his hand! We did the sunset cruise and the colors were awesome.
