We are a small, local, family-run Portuguese boat tour company based in Lagos, Algarve, Portugal.

We provide different types of Public and Private Boat Tours in Lagos such as the traditional Boat Trip to the Caves and Rock Formations of Ponta da Piedade, our mystical Sunset Boat Tours & Cruises and also the relaxing Coastal Boat Tours with Swimming or Snorkeling.

Our vessels respect all the legal and sanitary rules in force. They comply with safety standards and have all the safety equipment required by Portuguese legislation. We are inspected annually and all of our boat tours includes Civil Liability Insurance and Accident Insurance on all vessels covering all customers, legalized according to the requirements of the Portuguese authorities. Safety always comes first. Lagos Boat Tours has all licenses, insurances and permits for the different tours it offers.
Our boats are built and certified from the largest and best boat builder in Portugal (Obe & Carmen, Lda.) and they are the most stable and reliable for this type of boat trips.
Our company Lagos Boat Tours operates with small groups, and our tours favor boats with adequate capacity for a more personalized service, so that our customers receive all the necessary attention and comfort.
Our boats were properly designed for these specific tours. They have the proper size and capacity for the operation of entering and leaving the grottoes and caves, so that our experienced local skippers can navigate the boat with all the comfort and safety.
The ‘EXCELSIOR II‘ and the ‘EXCELSIOR III‘ are 2 small boats measuring 6.16m in length, with capacity for 10 customers and are the most suitable for entering the grottoes and caves. Only this way is possible to discover the interior of the most beautiful grottos of the Algarve, at the amazing Ponta da Piedade in Lagos, and cruise through the narrow passages and rock formations of this fantastic coastline.
These boats are modern and have cushioned seats for your comfort. They use Yamaha 4 stroke outboard motors. They are very quiet, reliable and have very low emissions.
